We had an absolute wonderful stay at Unleashed. We took our annual spring break trip to Folly, our group included eight adults. The house was large and everyone could be doing their own thing without being on top of each other. The screened in porch was wonderful and seemed to be a gathering place for everyone. Kitchen was large, which was great for meal preparation. Bedrooms and baths all very nice. Roof top deck was great for star gazing. The house was a short walk to the beach, pier, restaurants and all of the shops. Charleston was a short drive away. The house was stocked with all the necessities. Lots of beach items, such as chairs, umbrellas, etc., were available for use. The owner was great to work with and we were even able to get into the house a couple of hours early, which was greatly appreciated after a long drive. Everyone had a great week and enjoyed Unleased and Folly Beach!
- Tammy Z.
This charming home truly met the need and high standards of our party of six adults. We were very pleased with the fact that this home matched the pictures and description. The owner was very helpful. We are very picky about cleanliness, function, privacy and convenience. This home rated very high in these areas. In fact, there wasn't anything we felt could have improved for us. We were surprised there was no smell of dogs/animals. We were concerned about the distance into Charleston, but it was a very nice drive. Staying at Folly Beach was delightful. We were able to experience Charleston and retreat back to the island. Wonderful pier to walk on just a short walk from the house. The downtown area was quaint. We enjoyed Rita's restaurant.

I don't even know where to begin on this review of Unleashed...Everything is as promised from the comfortable beds, toiletries galore, quality sheets, towels and bedding to the fantastic location. The house was spotless upon arrival and the owner called to ensure everything was up to par. I think when you stay here it is not like being in a rental but rather at a good friends house. The appliances are high quality and furniture is comfortable as well. We loved walking to Bert's to get lunch or snacks as well as drinks. Beach access pathway is steps away. I can't believe how nice furniture is on upper deck as well as screened in porch. Beach chairs are plentiful wish it was a little warmer to get full use of those! Hope to be back soon!
- Lisa B.
We stayed there the week between Christmas and New Year 2015. There were 5 of us - 4 adults and 1 child. The house is lovely and one of the nicest in the area. Very well appointed. Loved the kitchen as I love to cook and there was everything there to make gourmet meals. We were able to bring our dog which was a real plus as well. There are lots of areas for everyone to have their space.
There are 2 great porches - one screened in downstairs and the open porch upstairs. The furnishings are great (really comfy beds too!). Minutes from the beach and walking distance from anything you'd like to do on Folly. We're pretty discriminating customers and we give the home very high marks.
The owner is great and super attentive. Her immediate response upon inquiry and attention to detail was much appreciated. She is super customer oriented which was a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend this beautiful home!!
My son lives nearby on James Island and chose this home for us to stay for his wedding. We could not have been happier with this house. My youngest son broke his foot less than a week before our arrival. The main living area, has tile floor and includes 1 bedroom with a private bath. PERFECT for someone who has a problem with stairs. It allows them to be part of everything but still have their own private space. There is also a screened in porch on the main floor. The guys could be out there as late as they wanted and not disturb the rest of the house. The screened in porch was also a plus with all the recent rain. We could sit outside and not have any bugs! The garage is nice. We were able to pull into the garage to unload & load the SUV. There is ample parking so there was no need to worry about the cars being parked "off the road", even with visitors. My grown boys were happy with all the beach toys available to use. Including the ones to build sand castles. The kitchen was great. My husband likes to cook and Unleashed has anything you could need in a kitchen. We had wedding guests stopping by as they strolled to the beach or to the shops and everyone raved about the great house.
I almost forgot to mention the beds. They are amazing! When you have people under 30 raving about beds you know they have to be nice. We are looking forward to many happy returns.
- Lisa W.
This is the second time I have stayed in this house and I would definitely recommend it. Both times I stayed with a group of 9 women. The house is so conveniently located, close to town, and a little grocery that is open 24 hours that has everything you would want. So many great places to eat and have cocktails all within walking distance! We were worried about there maybe being some damage after all the storms that hit SC recently but didn't find that to be the case. The owner is great to work with and seemed genuinely concerned that we had everything we needed. The screened porch for morning coffee and the rooftop deck for happy hour were the bomb! Our weather was great and we spent a lot of time in both of those places.
- Menorcan Ski Club (Florida)
We rented this vacation home to spend time with my immediate family (sisters, parents, kids). Everyone loved it! We especially enjoyed being so close to the beach, my sister and I walked over every day to run at sunrise, and my kid and husband loved walking down to get muffins in the morning. :) I am not a pet owner and have a sensitive nose so my nose was "aware" that pets are allowed at this property - but I knew that going in, so it was not a problem. All 8 of us had enough room to spread out when we needed to, and I discovered my kid's love for the screened in porch. A great week at the beach. We'd love to come back again.
- Doris H. (Metro Atlanta Area)
My family has been vacationing in Folly Beach now for 6 years and this home was definitely one of the best! It really was "affordable luxury". It was so spacious and beautifully decorated. One of my favorite things about this place was how the owner thought of so many little details to make the stay comfortable and convenient. From the basket of mini flashlights in the foyer, to all the little toiletries in the bathrooms that a traveler might forget, the dog crate and dog toys, the luxurious hand soaps and lotions, extra beach chairs and toys in the spacious garage, I could go on and on. The kitchen was amazing but my favorite place to relax was the side porch. Whenever a question would come up, the owner was very quick to respond and very helpful. The location was perfect, too. Just a short walk to the beach (we always rent a golf cart for getting around, too) and so very close to the best little store in town, Bert's Market as well as Center St. which has all the shops and restaurants (we highly recommend Taco Boy, 'Wich Doctor, and Lost Dog Cafe!). We would definitely stay here again. :-)
- Wendy (Gaithersburg, MD)
Our family enjoyed our week at Folly Beach. Great house for six adults and four children. Plenty of space for the little ones to play indoors. It's a short walk to the beach and to all of the restaurants and shops. We loved the kitchen and found it very accommodating for cooks.
- Pam (Fayetteville, TN)
We only had 3 short days to visit Charleston. This was the perfect place to stay, short drive to downtown Charleston, great restaurants within walking distance (Rita's our favorite)
Beautiful house with ANYTHING you could possibly need included. Owner was very good to work with...if I had only one suggestion...it would be that she would accept Pay Pal or a credit card as payment.
Worrying about checks in the mail was a little cumbersome for everyone involved. But in all...a beautiful house and great experience.
- Debbie (Richmond, VA)
We rented this home for a wedding weekend as my daughter was the maid of honor at her best friend's wedding. It is a short drive from the airport, a short walk from town and just a stone's throw from the beach. Although it rained the entire weekend, we had a wonderful time relaxing in this home. The screened in porch was a great spot for reading, napping or listening to the sounds of nature. The short walk to town was a daily stroll for us, with all amenities anyone could need from great restaurants to an array of shops. The location was not far from Charleston, so family members were able to visit what the "big" city had to offer with it's history and shopping. This is a great home for families and friends of all ages, offering plenty of space for gathering together, as well as areas to spend some alone time. The space was warm and inviting and well appointed with comfortable furnishings, linens and a fully equipped kitchen for family meals together. Thank you for your hospitality and for allowing us to take some great memories home from South Carolina!
- Libbie (Kingwood, TX)
Our family gathered at this beautiful home in Folly Beach for a wonderful vacation. The home had everything we were looking for, and was clean and well maintained. The owner was so helpful regarding places to see, restaurants, etc. We loved Folly Beach and all it had to offer!
- Bonnie F.
My family (eight of us) had a great vacation In this home for a few days. The house is very well equipped with everything from luxury bedding and soft towels to anything you might need to have a great worry-free vacation. The kitchen is beautiful and well stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal with. It was close to the beach and the pier. All beach equipment and luxury towels were supplied which was awesome. We enjoyed the trip to the lighthouse at the far end of the beach. Town was very interesting to walk around in. Really enjoyed the food in the restaurants. Bert's market is a "must see" it is like going on a trip into the past. The people of Folly are so very friendly and helpful. Just a short drive into Charleston for tours, great food and sight seeing. The owner was very easy to book with and the house was all you could want for a quiet family vacation. Very spacious and cozy. Enjoyed the lights and the SC beach breeze on the screened in porch. Shortly after arriving the owner called to make sure we were in and the house was ok. I thought this was a very nice touch as most owners don't do this on rentals. Don't hesitate to rent this house. You will not be sorry you choose this house to rent for your next vacation. BEAUTIFUL RENTAL. Thanks again to the owners for letting us share your beautiful home for a few days.
- Tennesee Vols (Tennesee)
First impression- wow! lovely lovely home- Then, super comfy spacious home! Had a great time, very relaxed and well appointed living. Close to shopping, restaurants, beach, pier. Everything within walking distance. Would love to spend more time on the upper deck enjoying the sound of the ocean. Definitely making a return visit soon.
- Wright Pack (Leawood, KS)
What a great home, location, and vacation!! The house reviews and description is right on. It is an extremely nice and upscale house. It has everything you need. No need to pack anything other than your clothes! We loved the screened in porch with the pretty lights at night. We ate out on the porch when we could. It was also really nice to have the speakers on the porch for music. The sun deck is also fantastic for relaxing and watching the sunset. The walk to the beach is just about 2 minutes. We brought the reclining beach chairs out there and watched the sunrise with our coffee by the pier. There is a small grocery store just down the block and many bars/restaurant with nightly music within a very short walking distance. Charleston is a short 20 minute easy drive. You couldn’t ask for a better location. Communication with the owners was fantastic! Thank you again for sharing your home with us!
- Galina (Marietta, Ga)
My family and I arrive for a weeks stay at this beautiful home. We had arrived from a long journey with two dogs in a small vehicle and where ready to settle in, when we walked through the front door it was just as depicted on the website "A grand entrance" awaited us, the home was warm and inviting with earth tones that made you feel like you where walking into an old piazza in Italy. We were all pleased with the accommodations, as a homeowner of a rental property in the Dominican Republic I can attest that this home is more than well equipped. The owners have an attention to detail with all of the needs of everyday living and this home had it all barr none.
Our family will return to this rental in the future as we had a wonderful time. This was our first time on Folly Beach, we come from the coastal shores of New Jersey and are familiar with beach communities, however this little town was something out of a story book, quaint and charming, the locals were all very nice as were the many restaurants that we visited. We found it quite convenient that "Bert's" Market was a block away and has everything under the sun in the event that you required milk bread or sundries.
Had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this unit or the cottage that the homeowners rent in the event that you require smaller accommodations.
- Jersey Girl (New Jersey)
Our group planned drive times/flight schedules around the check-in time as it was made clear there would be no early check-ins. After taking two planes and a 40 min cab ride, we arrived about 4pm and we all waited to go inside until 4:31pm.
We were shooed out by the cleaning staff saying it would be another 30/45min before they were finished. We had very tired, hot babies who had been traveling all day. Not knowing what else to do we called the owner. I knew there was nothing she could do about it, but thought I thought A. she should know, and if I was the owner I’d want to know, and B. she might offer us an apology or something helpful.
She harshly told us ‘that is why I tell you people no early check-ins for exactly this reason.’ To which my husband pointed out that it was in fact after 4:30 and we were NOT early. She said to sit in our cars and wait if we wanted to check in to a clean house. My friends had arrived by cab from the airport and didn’t have a car to sit in.
Even had it been out of my control that my staff was behind I would have apologized and showed empathy… I don’t think it would have made us nearly as upset to wait outside in the heat had she at least been apologetic and kind about their tardiness.
Eventually, we did get inside and we enjoyed our time at the house. Here are a few things we noticed though.
The shower curtain in the jack-and-jill bathroom had of mold on it.
The master bathroom door wouldn't completely close… it would swing open 2-3 inches no matter how hard you tried to close it and since the toilet is right inside the door, that was always open, you had no privacy.
We personally found the mattress in the master bedroom to be uncomfortable. The others were better.
Almost the entire patio outside at the grill/shower area was covered in mildew. It most severely needed to be bleached and power washed.
Grill was falling apart. We didn’t attempt to use it.
All in all, the house was fine. It’s large and spacious but is currently lacking in detailed TLC. It’s nothing a few days and a good handyman couldn’t fix though. Over all good house, great location in town/beach! We loved Folly (our first visit)!
Also, Burt's Market is literally a short stroll from the house and we were super impressed to discover this place. Carried great brands, gluten free, organic, non gmo... lots of things we enjoy but had a hard time finding elsewhere and so convenient!
- MamaCarebear (Greenville, SC)
Our family had a delightful time on vacation. This home is well designed, has ample space for children, adults and dogs and is close to the beach and town. We were able to walk to town (which is helpful since there is so little parking on weekends). Loved the screened porch and the terrace deck. There are many amenities that add a special touch. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We hope to return.
- Andrea G.
We had a wonderful time in your beautiful home. Great location!! The beach is a 3 minute walk, downtown 2 blocks away to restaurants and shops. Your home is wonderful, fully equipped kitchen bath and beach towels supplied. We would like to use your home in 2 years. Thank You!!
- Kathleen C.
This was a wonderful place for our entire family to vacation. The home is spacious enough for our 2 sons, daughters-in-law and our wonderful grands with lots of comfortable seating. There was always a cool breeze on the screened porch, plenty of kitchen space for group cooking and I loved every minute of our family time together! It's an easy walk to the beach or downtown even for our 4 year old grandson. We can't wait for next year. Back to the real world now . . . . (sigh)!
- Margaret G.
This beach house was awesome. We had 10 women sharing the house and there still seemed to be more space than we needed. The outside deck was fabulous and bedrooms neat and clean. The breezy porch was the best. Just a short walk from the beach, it was so convenient. Had all the supplies and accessories you needed, which was so convenient if you are flying in to Charleston and unable to bring all the extras. Would recommend this house to the Queen!
- Melanie (Boston, MA)
Determined to get away for the children's Spring Break- we stumbled upon this "diamond in the rough". Words can not describe how amazing this house is!! It was neat, clean and very well kept! The kitchen was to die for! The master bathroom was breathtaking! The open patio was awesome and the closed in deck late night was soothing with the sounds of the ocean in the background! The size of the guest room was huge! There is not one bad thing I can say about the house or the experience! We felt like we were right at home! There was so much to do. The beach was less than 2 blocks away. Shops and restaurants within walking distance. Everything was provided for us. All you really have to do is bring food and a change of clothes! We are planning on making this a tradition every year and we are determined to stay at "Unleashed" EVERYTIME!! I can assure you this is the best beach house in all of Folly Beach and Charleston! Simply AMAZING!!
We were so comfortable and loved this house. Everything is so clean and ready for you to enjoy. We loved having our family and our dogs. The house is more than accommodating with size of rooms being the ultimate. Having linens, towels, shampoos, soap, etc. provided is such a treat. The beach and the restaurants are in walking distance. Bert's store is the coolest. Loved it all. Thank you again for allowing us to share your beautiful home!!
- Cynthia B.
This house was a great spot for our Christmas holiday. The listing is so accurate as to what is included. We had a great time cooking in the very well appointed kitchen. The master suite is comparable to a 5 star hotel. I would recommend this to any group. Being able to have the family pet with us was great. Folly is so fun but I love it especially in the winter to enjoy all the restaurants, the locals and the great break in the weather. One word of caution, the house has a very open floor plan so if you have noisy children do not expect a lot of peace and quiet....but you can always enjoy the wonderful deck and porches!
- CC (Cornelius, NC)
The property was exactly as described and shown in photos. Owner was extremely helpful before and during our stay. We had 7 people & one large dog all week and 2 additional people for 3 of the days and it never felt crowded at all. Plenty of room for everyone to be together but still areas to get away for some quiet time if wanted. Great location, quiet street yet many things are within walking distance including the beach. Well equipped kitchen, going out to eat is optional but not necessary. A quick trip to the local seafood market is all that is needed.
I would definitely rent this home again for another family get together.
- Steve R.
I am very picky and very hard to impress, but this house was so fabulous, I hardly know where to begin! This beautiful, spacious beach house far exceeded our expectations! It allowed for gathering or quiet time, even when the house was full of people! The kitchen is truly stocked with everything! Make expresso, bake a cake or grill a whole fish - no problem! With several cooks in the house, we made grand feasts with great ease! The layout of the house makes it easy to relax and socialize in a luxurious, yet casual setting with a variety of venues to enjoy - the keeping room, the screened-in porch or the breezy second floor deck with it's wonderful views! The house was absolutely spotless and well-maintained! The linens were fine, and all of the beds and pillows very comfortable. Each bedroom had ample closet or bureau space to unpack and stow your suitcases, if you like your room neat & orderly, like I do. The tasteful decor was just icing on the cake! The owners spared no expense, here. Even the curtains in the bedrooms were a thoughtful touch, with blackout lining, in case you wanted to sleep in!!!
A big plus is the honest-to-goodness dog-friendly situation. NO worries with the tile flooring downstairs. The owners provided a very good dog crate for those times that we went out without our dog. The whole town seems to be dog-friendly!
I timed my walk from the house to the beach: 3 minutes to what just so happens to be one of the better stretches of beach at Folly. There is a very charming market just around the corner (Bert's Red & White) that had everything from guitar strings to sushi! If they didn't have it, they'll tell you where you can get it. .... a great resource! They'll let your dog in, too!
Once you have shopped for your groceries, you can park your car in the 3-car garage and LEAVE it! There's no need to drive anywhere! From the house, it's a mere block and a half to Center Street - lively with activity! There, you'll find charming little retail shops and a great selection of restaurants, with offerings ranging from fresh local oysters (The Oyster Room) to gourmet tacos - Taco Boy! Or rent bicycles and ride out to the light house at the national park! On the way home, stop at Chico Fio's backyard bar for a slice of local "color" - stumbling distance to the house!
The beach is lovely; the community is charming, but the house nurtures you! As we drove away, I had already begun to feel homesick ..... as if it were my own home!
- DoggieManners (Augusta, GA)
Our family loved this beach house! It is beautifully appointed, it is very close to the beach, has many kid-friendly restaurants nearby. We found the house to be spacious, comfortable, well lighted, and it easily accommodated our group of 10 people.
I would recommend it highly!
Also, Charleston was a short (15-20) minute drive and we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful, historic homes, the wonderful restaurants, the Civil War and the ghost tours, walks through the Battery area.
Great city to visit!
- Diane (Connecticut)
Great family vacation site! Plenty of room to spread out for six adults and two toddlers. Easy access to Charleston, the beach, and shopping. The master suite has a Very comfortable king size bed, great large walk in shower, and individual sinks. The kitchen is well furnished with a large refrigerator and awesome commercial grade gas stove. Having the two microwaves made it so easy to multitask in the kitchen!!
- Beach Bums (Gulf Breeze, FL)
We were here between Christmas and New Year's - my daughter had found the perfect place for our annual winter vacation for the 4 of us. The place is amazing! Sooooo beautiful, decorated like a real Med home with every amenity imaginable. You will think you have been transported and won't ever want to leave. My husband and son-in-law spent so much time fighting over the chef's kitchen that we only went out to eat twice. Watching the New Year's festivities from the roof was a wonderful way to start the new year. Even our dog had a wonderful time, since the owners provided for his needs as well as ours. Folly is a really dog-friendly town which all of us liked.
My husband had been stationed in Charleston during his Navy days and lived on Folly. He says it has changed a lot in almost 40 years! :) We did find the house he lived in, a couple of streets away from here, and he said this home was a bit better than his bachelor's hovel.
So, here's the BUT part. I must first say there was no alcohol involved. One night, in the middle of the night, I was going down the very highly polished staircase, slipped and fell down the entire center section. I grabbed for the handrail behind me, which doesn't exist on that side - there is a wall there.
I stopped at the final landing before the first few steps up, curled in a ball. I had a very large bruise on my left shoulder, one the size of my hand on my hip and a throbbing left thumb. Fortunately there were no bones sticking out anywhere so I thought I was OK. I had trouble walking the last two days we were there and met our insurance deductible on Jan 2 when we got home and I got to my doctor. I was found to have a deep tissue injury to my hand, a cracked pelvis and fortunately just bruising to my shoulder. I had a stair runner installed at my house the week we got home.
This is not to say that the place is unsafe. Just be aware, especially with children, that on the turns in the staircase where the steps become triangles at the landings, there is no place to hold on since the posts there are so large. We had a wonderful time and I would go again, but next time I would choose the downstairs bedroom. The ad says 'perfect for grandparents' and since I am going to be a grandmother this summer, I guess that is true.
Enjoy this home and the thoughful comfort it provides. We did.
- VisaDiva (Hixson, TX)
Getting together with great comfort was our criteria for this vacation. All of us are getting old (70's and 80) and my brother is handicapped. Except for the stairs we all managed very well and even that did not present a real problem. We were all very impressed with the property and the spaciousness of the house. When we arrived, one shower did not have hot water and the owner had a plumber come immediately. The cleaning ladies were there yet because we arrived early. They were so friendly and happy to tell us where to go and what to see. Several of us were delighted to find a post office a few blocks away.
- Bev (Illinois)
I've been to Folly Beach multiple times, stayed in different private homes. This home is very nice and accomodating. I had friends from Colorado, Florida and California and us from Ohio. Ample room for the 6 of us. We cooked alot of meals at home and found this home to be well stocked with all the utensils, pots, pans etc. that we needed. We even did a Thanksgiving meal for our thankfulness of being together in such a casual, beautiful setting. The house is magnificent just as shown in the pictures. Couldn't have asked for a more pleasant vacation. I highly recommend anybody going to Folly to vacation at this location. I think we are actually going to rent the second property next year called "The Perfect Beach Cottage". The owner is a very accomodating home owner and takes pride in hear rental. Thank You for one of the best vacations I've experienced on Folly!
- Michelle McLaughlin (Columbus OH)
Everything as described and so many extras. Great large kitchen for family meal prep. Wonderful screened porch. Very close to beach but far enough away to be very peaceful. Nice very short walk to numerous good restaurants and pier. Don't miss Crosby's Seafood market (on the right just over the bridge to Folly). Fabulous shrimp in season just off the boat never frozen. Owner and cleaning staff make sure everything is just right for your stay.
- Gayle P.
We had a wonderful experience during our stay on Folly Island. The house was beautiful just as portrayed and the owner was easy to work with. In my opinion this house is in the perfect location. It was easy walking distance to both the beach and the downtown area. The island was fun and quaint. It was everything we hoped for in our vacation planning. As my children said, the house is part of the vacation and we were pleased with the outcome.
- Lena (Colorado)
Our family stayed at this wonderful home recently. More importantly, this house is as advertised. The owner was always always accommodating and prompt in answering any questions. The occasion for our visit was our 50th wedding anniversary. We invited our daughters, their spouses, and our four grandchildren to join us. We stayed in the Master Suite and the grandkids enjoyed taking showers in our large shower. Two of the grandsons (one is 6' tall) slept comfortably on the trundle bed and one slept on a sofa in the living room. This house allows you to be together or to just be alone. The kitchen is great. Be sure and look in the cabinet to the right of the sink for another set of dishes. The boys enjoyed riding their bikes around Folly and on the beach. Bring your own bikes if you can a it costs $40 for four days to rent one. You can buy one at Walmart down there for around $85 and take it home! We bought groceries at Publix, but there is a Piggly Wiggly nearer the house. We found dry ice at Harris Teeter. The boys played basketball in the park, all four went on a half-day fishing trip and all of us took tours of Charleston. There's plenty of beach towels and beach chairs so leave yours at home. We were happy to have found this beautiful home and to share it with our family.
- Memommy (Auburn, AL)
This is a beautiful house with a great location! Very short walk to the beach, right by Bert's market, the pier, etc. The entire process was very easy and straightforward. Great to work with and was a wonderful vacation! Has everything you could need.
- Thomas & Automn Hooper (Montgomery, AL)
We spent four sunny February days in this lovely home. Weather cooperated for an outdoor b'day celebration with plenty of views in every direction, fresh seafood, and friends. The house was very clean and well-designed. We would definitely return.
- Mack (Asheville, NC)
We have just returned from the Most Wonderful 4 day vacation. The first ever with our adult children, spouses and grandsons. The house is so spacious, no one felt cramped or in the way of one another. The listing is very acuate and is what is stated. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable and accommodating with towels, shampoo, body wash and hand soap. We really enjoyed the den and kitchen area as we could cook, talk, watch TV and just have fun being with each other. The decks off of the bedrooms are so relaxing wheather you're having your morning coffee or just relaxing and taking in the sun or reading your favorite book.
If you are looking for a place that has the feel of home away from home this is the place to check out.
The owner was so easy to work with and a pleasure to speak with. She sees to everything that will make your stay an enjoyable one.
My husband and 2 of our grandsons went fishing from the near by pier but sorry to say they didn't catch anything. Maybe next time......
We will be recommending this beautiful home to our friends and family members. We hope to be back in the area again so we can have a longer stay.
- Dona (Travelers Rest, SC)
This house is more the we could even imagine! The pictures don't do justice, it's simply beautiful! We enjoyed or stay and our 18 month old kept us on our feet the whole time! He loved the space. It was very fitting and enjoyed it. Hoping to make it an annual place to stay for our families!
- Fostergirl (Westminster)
We wanted a place to gather our sons, daughter, her husband and new grandson for a week away. It was our first experience renting a house. From the moment we arrived we were in heaven. We were made to feel comfortable right from the start. The friendly notes the owner left around made it easy to navigate around.
It truly was a lovely home away from home. Everything we read about it on the internet was true. We all had are own space, but spent much of our time together in the kitchen as we all love to cook. What a great spacious fully equipped kitchen. The beach was only a short walk just as we were told. Definitely woild recommend this house.
- H & R (Surprise, AZ)
The house was more than we imagined. The short walk to the beach was great with the kids. We loved the kitchen. It is truly a kitchen that you can cook in while on vacation. You do not not need to bring beach towels, chairs or kids toys with you as there were plenty to use. We will certainly try to come to Folly Beach again
- Sharon (Georgia)
This was the perfect home for my husband, our 2 1/2 year old daughter and the grandparents. Plenty of room so everyone could have their own space if they wanted. One of the nicest parts was sitting on the upper deck at night listening to the ocean. The best part, though, was being a short walk from the beach, a short walk to the pier, or restaurants. The trip to the lighthouse was breathtaking, as the owners insisted in their notes at the home that it was a must-see. They were right! Thanks to the Buckleys for sharing their beautiful home with us. We all enjoyed it, and it couldn't have been a better location for a family with a small child.
- Maura B. (Central Missouri)
My friends and I rented this house for several days. Not only was it clean, but it was well laid out to accomodate a number of people (we had 5 adults and 2 children in our group.) The owners thought of everything! There were little notes in case we had troubles (we didn't!) and everything was neat and clean. We didn't want to leave! It was a nice little walk to the beach and to town and a short drive to Charleston. Not only that, there were several nice groceries stores within a short drive and we were not limited only to Folly Beach for supplies. LOTS of parking, LOTS of SPACE to relax and have a great time (which, we DID!) LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE it and can't wait to come back again!
- MK1765 (New Jersey)
We really loved staying at this beach house. Very nice flow an everything was just as advertised. We would love to come back.
- Brenda F (Roanoke, VA)
We held a girls weekend at the house - 6 of us and it was perfect! great house for hanging out in - loved the kitchen for cooking ! We were all very comfy in our beds and baths . Loved being able to walk to music and margaritas from the house. Enjoyed our long walks on the beach. It was just perfect - we plan on booking again for our girls weekend next year!

As we planned for a family week at Folly Beach, my daughter-in-law wondered if we would have to take our own linens (she was familiar with rentals that don't provide them) and I wondered if the property was really as beautiful as the pictures (Photoshop can do amazing things). The reality delighted us all. The property is beautiful and spacious. The pictures were true! The cleaning crew had done a great job. The house was spotless. Coming from different parts of the country, we had four vehicles and had wondered about parking space. There was plenty of space in back and in the garage. As for things provided, not only were there linens and great fluffly bath towels, there were beach towels, floats, bikes, kites, sun visors, tennis racquets, even toys for the dogs -- I was amazed at all the extras that were provided. Accessing the front door with a combination relieved us of having to carry a key to the beach or wondering who had the key. It was a great convenience. One reason we had chosen this rental was because the owners allowed dogs, and we like to take our dogs with us. The requirement to keep the dogs on the first floor was not a problem. The kitchen, living rooms, were all on the first floor, and a gate on the stairway made it easy to keep the dogs downstairs. The owners had given lots of information about local places to eat, and they were only a phone call away if we had problems (we didn't) or questions. We would certainly recommend this property to anyone. In fact, we're hoping our schedules will allow us to get together there ourselves in 2011. It's a rental that exceeded our expectations!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Folly Beach. This home is all that it is depicted to be...a beautiful home with many "extras". The kitchen is well equipped, there was plenty of room, and the owner provided many thoughtful immentities to make our stay comfortable.
The owner was very prompt in answering any questions that we had, and very pleasant to communicate with.
We would definitely recommend this home, and hope to stay there again when we visit Folly Beach.

We had a great stay at Unleashed. Our grandson loved going upstairs on the balcony. It was perfect for our family and for our dogs. We enjoyed all the space and the beds were very comfortable.Close to beach, downtown and stores. Loved it.

What a wonderful family vacation we had in your lovely home and at Folly Beach. We loved cooking our meals in the well-appointed kitchen, relaxing on the terrace and porch, taking in the shops at Folly..... The house is so spacious and comfortable, and all the special touches made for a wonderful time together. We will return. Thanks!

We were spoiled with "Unleashed" the homeowner went to great links to provide luxury yet comfort in this spacious home. You will love the location of the home, a short walking distance to the beach, stores and restaurants. You can't go wrong renting this property.
